Separate the capabilities

Write down which of these are genuinely required:

  • Attribution, reporting, and data synchronization.

If the requirement is limited to email or ecommerce lifecycle work, products such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, and Constant Contact may appear in the shortlist. If CRM history and cross-team reporting are central, the migration is a broader systems project.

Calculate migration cost

Subscription price is only one line item. Include data cleanup, field mapping, automation recreation, consent history, integrations, reporting changes, training, and the risk of interrupted lead routing.

Run a sample migration with real records before making a platform decision. Verify contact deduplication, unsubscribe state, automation triggers, and event data.

Where an assistant may fit

There may be demand for a lighter campaign assistant that plans a campaign, creates assets, and coordinates execution before a company needs a full CRM. That is not a complete HubSpot replacement and should not be marketed as one.
